Who we are

A premier academy for specialization training, research, consultancy, and capacity building.

Nutrition and Dietetics Academy is the training arm of the Nutrition Association of Kenya, founded in 1982 and established in 2017. It is accredited and mandated to offer sub-specialties in clinical nutrition including Oncology, Critical Care, and Nephrology Nutrition, alongside short courses in Food and Nutrition Security.

The academy provides learning opportunities and e-learning courses for professionals and other interested persons working in food, nutrition, social, and economic development, with a practical approach that closes the gap between knowledge and implementation.

To provide learning and development programmes that build capacity for a result-oriented health workforce.

To be a leader in the development of a highly skilled health workforce that drives excellence in nutritional care and optimal health outcomes.
